Guy Tustin is a second-year law student at the University of Tennessee College of Law. He earned his BA in Liberal Studies at Arizona State University, where he focused on cultural perspectives of health, illness and wellness. Prior to law school, Guy worked as an HIV prevention coordinator at a nonprofit, providing free testing, counseling, and community health education for at-risk populations. He worked on a team of grant writers responsible for the successful funding of East Tennessee’s first syringe exchange program, a harm reduction program with goals of, among many other things, reducing Hepatitis C and HIV transmission. Guy developed an interest in family law during his clerkship with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and continues to appreciate how it blends the law with culture and society. He is eager to be a part of Held Law Firm’s team of advocates.
