* Give you quick appointments, usually within one week, and to promptly return calls.

* Do all of the hard work surrounding an adoption, including surrenders and terminations, not just the fun part at the end.

* Will take the time to get to know your kids, your family, the caseworker, and everyone else, so they can advise you not only about the legal issues, but also about the facts that may impact your ability to adopt your child.

* Answer all your questions, in English (not Legalese) and all of the Judge’s questions.

* Will know your home study, and if there’s something wrong, to know how to fix it.
